The website has been reorganized to provide easier access to data with the different sections containing the following data: -STATUS: contains a quick overview of the current developments concerning the proposed casino in Plymouth. -BASIS FOR OPPOSITION:If you want to understand the facts concerning Plymouth, then read this section which contains a detailed synopsis of the significant issues which form a logical basis for the opposition to the proposed casino. -Draft EIS (Environmental Impact Statement):A copy of the document submitted by NCIP to the regional Office of the BIA concerning the Ione Band of Miwok's recently released Draft EIS. This document delineates the numerous falsehoods, iaccuracies, and deficiencies of the Tribe's Draft EIS. Also provided is a link to a similar document submitted by Amador County. -UPCOMING EVENTS: provides the time/date/location of significant future events. -HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: contains a brief overview of California's Indian and Tribal Gamingt History. -NEGATIVE IMPACTS: contains detailed information on the numerous negative impacts resulting from casino development. -ARCHIVE GOV. POSITIONS:has the official detailed position stated in letters written by the governmental bodies involved with the process. -DOCUMENTS OF INTEREST:is divided into several sections, that deal with the MSA, the Dept. of Interior Investigation or other material that is relevent to the proposed casino or has previously appeared in other sections of this website and is being retained for reference purposes. -WHAT YOU CAN DO: offers suggestions on how to become involved and make your voice heard. -RELATED LINKS: is a short list of related Internet sites.
